Greeting Dear LG friends,
In this post I will explain my travel experience and some photographs of Qutab Minar.
From New Delhi railway station, I took an Ola auto and reached Qutab Minar. It cost Rs.320. But the better option will be by traveling in Yellow line Metro and you can get down at Qutab Minar stop and then pick an auto.
Then I went to the ticket counter which is located just opposite to the main entrance of the monument. The I took token cost around Rs 30 and went to the monument main entrance.
I went there at 7 am, and had a great experience. Actually it was not crowded when I enter the monument and when I come to exit, it was little crowded.
The location was well maintained by archeological department and the 62 meter victory tower was wonderful. I enjoyed the sounds of birds, garden, aero plane spotting there…
Then I came around Iman Zamin Tomb. It was nice and the designs made of bricks were wonderful
I enjoyed the constructive beauty and architectural works… Then I roam around the Iron Pillar and finally came to the main monument.
It was a South West Asian design and fully made of red bricks. The entire 62 meter is carved with an arabic design.
Then I enjoyed the sound of birds and it was also an amazing experience. My suggestion is to visit Qutab minar early morning. Morning sunlight gives a different image to the monument.
This place is one of the good location for aeroplane spotting. I enjoyed the descending beauty of civilian aircrafts. I have added some photographs. Since the Indra Gandhi International Airport is located 7.5 km from here, you can enjoy a better view.
After spending 2 hours, I returned through the exit gate.
