Since June/July 2024, changing of hotel names are under auto denial mode, that’s the reason you are getting auto denial.
At this time, only Google Maps Team & business owners can edit it through Google Business Profile: https://www.google.com/intl/en/business/

Hi @Martinian
No, you were right.
However, if a business is claimed, they can reject the edit before it’s applied, or reverse it.
A better procedure is the use of the Business Redressal Complaint Form - Google Business Profile Help
In this way the business will be checked directly by Google, without the possibility for the business to reject the edit

Thanks a lot for this information, @VishalSaini! I was wondering why I was not able to report a duplicate pin for a hotel in the same building. Now, I reported it using the form provided by @ErmesT … we will see, if it works.
