As we all know Google Local Guide 2020 is not going to take place. But I think Google should arrange an online meet up for people it will definitely make every one happy and online meet up will give opportunity to everyone interested of selected people… And stay home stay safe and Stay happy and healthy

As you may know, no one was selected for participating to Connect live 2020.
As you can read on An update on Connect Live 2020 , the event will not happen, and correctly Google decided to close it giving a badge to every applicant.
I can’t speak on behalf of Google, but in my opinion a global meet-up would be extremely difficult to manage, considering that we live on 24 different timezone.
BTW, you can easily talk with the alumni of the previous four editons, just searching for post like Connect live Attendee of the week , or searching for some recap of the past events written by the attendees

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! Connect Live is all about bringing to real life the magic of the community, here on Connect and beyond. For this reason we decided to not host a digital event, at this time we are planning to bring Connect Live back in 2021.

You idea is good and it will somewhere cool off the zeal of not attending the CL2020 this year.
But you think yourself, would you like to attend this event in so much uncertainty during COVID19 pandemic. If I would have got confirmation to attend the event I would not have enough time to make me ready in attending the event (lots of documentations for Passport and Visa).
There are probabilities of second wave of this pandemic.
Moreover as you are asking for a virtual meet up.That you can attend different meetings with local guides globally. Reasons and issues related to this has already been discussed by @ErmesT in his earlier post.
Better to prepare yourself for connect live 2021 and pray for a healthy world.
