My question is will it make any difference if i keep the application video as public instead of unlisted video (On YouTube)? What is best recommended in your opinion?

I don’t think it changes something for the application strickly speaking.
I see it more like a way to improve yourself for the next application. If you are not selected this year, you can look up at the comments that were made on your video and then, act upon them to get an even better video next year.

@fasi6083 Listed/public or unlisted, anything works for the application. There is no difference. If you do not have any problem making the video public then you can use the unlisted option too. Most of the users share their video publicly. Hope this answers your query.

Either is fine. It is helpful to other Local Guides if you leave your video public so they can see what your application looks like.
