I am new here and I have had a concern for a while and thought I would throw it up here to see what people know. I have heard that there is a max number of of saved tags you can have in Google maps and that it you hit the max they disappear! I use them constantly for traveling and for possible future trips as well as locally. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

@Mara_NYC Did you mean “Save” into a List, ie, when you find a location and hit the Save button which you can tag it as Favorites, Want to go, Starred Places, or a custom List?
As far as I know, we can create as many Lists as needed, which can be public, shared or private. And each list can have as many locations as needed. So as far as I am aware, there is isn’t a limit. However, the recommendation if we are creating a shared or public list, it’s best to keep a public shared list anywhere between 8-15 items in the list.
Maybe others can share their experiences with us as well.
