I’ve seen postings where Local Guides have received these neat pins as Rewards. I would like to know the qualifications needed to be awarded this pin. Love to earn one as it would look great on my shoulder bag

A warm and friendly welcome to local guides connect forum and nice to E-meet you here. I see it’s your first post on the forum.
There is no qualification of any kind needed to earn this “Little pin” It’s actually called a pegman. As you know the local guides program is a voluntary program and we as local guides like to contribute freely without expecting any rewards in return. Nevertheless Google offers some little perks from time to time to some local guides in some particular areas. It’s just a token to appreciate our contributions as local guides. Aside this pegman, there are socks, tôt bag,some have even gotten Google play credits as perks.
. It’s good to let you know that there is no fairness or particular order to who receives what and when. It’s a random offer that may or may not get to you.
That said,keep contributing quality and positively and maybe it will be your turn someday in the far future. Incase of any further Question about a Local Guides reward email? Read this first .
Aside the little pin there are loads of other benefits derived from the Local Guides program,interactions here on connect is one. Realising that your contributions is helping millions of people is a rewarding feeling and the list goes on.
