So, in the past one week, my contributions have been focused on highlighting and spotlighting businesses.
There is so much we, as Local Guides, can do to light up the face of a business owner 
. Oftentimes, I write my reviews to reflect this! I want others to see what they are missing out on, if they are not patronising that business.
For example, this review:
Excerpt of my Review for Miniso Lifestyle, Novare Mall
I have bought items here since 2023 that are still working well today! I love that many of their items are branded Miniso. They are a customer-friendly retail store… The last time I visited, I told them at the entrance I was only there to look around and not purchase anything, yet they were very attentive… You see the white hat in this picture? I got it from them in December 2023. This photo is from 2026, you can see how good it still looks?
I had opened the app to post a Photo update from my last visit to the Mall when I saw a 1-star review of Miniso, this made me go all out in writing my review. What do you think? Did I nail it? 
Have you ever shared a review so deep, it almost felt like you were trying to vindicate the business owner and the services they render or the goods they sell?

Such an interesting topic! After reading your review, I felt like going to that store myself too. 
Reading your story reminded me of a stationery store where you could find not only pencils and notebooks, but all kinds of fun hobby stuff, at very affordable prices. I really loved that store, so I wrote a detailed review about it, including photos of the products and their prices.
One day, when I met one of my friends, she told me that after reading my review, she decided to go there and found everything she needed. At that moment, I was absolutely delighted

I really like this point. A detailed review can do much more than just give a business a few stars.
What stood out to me in your review was that you explained why you had a good experience…the quality of the products, how long they lasted, and how the staff treated you even when you said you were only looking around.
I think those small real-life details are what make a review useful for both future customers and the business owner. Honest reviews like this can definitely help good local businesses get noticed.

Now, this is the entire point! Many people view it as ‘talking too much’ or phishing for the ‘full points’ accorded to detailed reviews but it goes far beyond receiving points, it is about creating a real-life impact…

Vamshi means “flute” in Sanskrit, and the name is often associated with Lord Krishna’s flute in our Indian tradition.
And you guessed right…I do run a business. My work is mainly around digital and immersive experiences, so I naturally pay a lot of attention to customer experience, engagement and how feedback can help a business improve.
But here on Local Guides, I really enjoy looking at things from the visitor’s side what makes a place memorable, what could be better, and what information might genuinely help the next person.

Review so convincing, people are sold especially with that ‘Local Guide’ right next to the reviewer’s name 
something so spicy it excites the taste buds
