While traveling in South Africa many people often asked me the question Where do you come from?. I was surprised at their question to my answer Where is Togo? This experience was repeated in other trips to other countries. I decided to put Togo on the map.
Indeed, the places that attract, the tourist places, the good restaurants are not lacking in my country but cruelly lack of visibility. Which explains why we speak little about Togo. That led me to talk about Togo. Talking about Togo is also giving visibility to small businesses and businesses to enable them to continue by existing by selling more.
That’s why I also chose to share is to promote local businesses and local businesses. CHOCOTOGO is a local production company of 100% organic chocolate. Togo produces cocoa but Togolese consume only imported chocolate. A few years ago, some young people decided to form a cooperative to transform Togolese cocoa into organic chocolate. Today CHOCOTOGO is the pride of Togo and Togolese like me. That’s why I chose to talk about this small business and its dynamic young people who have decided to bring transformation to our community.
What I shared has had an impact on the visibility of small businesses in Togo.
