On my recent bus journey from Pune to Mumbai, I came across a convenient and vibrant MSRTC food mall along the highway.

The place felt like a refreshing pause in the middle of the trip, bright, bustling, and thoughtfully designed for travelers.

What struck me most was its eco‑friendly spirit. Recycling bins were neatly placed, encouraging everyone to dispose of waste responsibly.

The buses stopping there were electric, humming quietly instead of roaring with diesel fumes, adding to the clean and calm atmosphere.

There was even an electric charging point for cars and bikes, making it a true hub for sustainable travel.

As I sipped my tea, I noticed the cups were made of biodegradable material, a small but powerful gesture toward reducing plastic waste.

The mall wasn’t just about food. It was about creating a greener journey.

Travelers could enjoy local delicacies guilt‑free, knowing the place cared for the environment.

For me, it felt symbolic. A pit stop where convenience met conscience, showing how modern travel can blend comfort with sustainability.

MSRTC is ‘Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’, and when we travel by their bus, they stop here compulsorily :smiley:.

Yet, it is a wonderful food mall with a lot of choices for all budgets.
