We began our celebration of Instant Ramen Day with a photowalk of the R. K. Museum, where we were able to take pictures of the classic artwork. The museum is in Pune, Maharashtra, and it honours the life and career of one of India’s most well-known cartoonists, R. K. Laxman. Laxman, best known for his famous cartoon “The Common Man,” has had a profound influence on Indian journalism and art.
@TusharSuradkar was awarded a certificate for winning the Friendship Day trivia as well. We shared laughter, enjoyed each other’s company, exchanged goodies and took a quiz. @ShubhamWaman triumphed in today’s Ramen Day Meetup Quiz, and we bid adieu.
First of all thank you for your interesting recap. I’m happy to see a lot of people in there.

What a fantastic way to celebrate Instant Ramen Day! Combining a photowalk through the R. K. Laxman Museum with some delicious ramen sounds like the perfect blend of art, culture, and food.
R. K. Laxman Museum Photowalk
Starting the day at the R. K. Laxman Museum must have been a treat for art and history enthusiasts. R. K. Laxman’s influence on Indian journalism and art through his iconic “The Common Man” cartoons is truly legendary. It’s great to hear that the museum is wheelchair accessible, making it inclusive for all visitors. Adding a wheelchair-accessible sticker is a thoughtful gesture that reflects the inclusive spirit of the Local Guides community.
Celebration at Noodles Plus
Following up with some classic ramen at Noodles Plus was a brilliant idea! The spicy ramen soup paired with chilled coffee sounds like the perfect way to end the day. It must have been a great experience to sit together, share meals, and connect over good food. And congratulations on winning the Chocolate Day trivia! It’s always fun to engage in friendly competitions during meetups.
Final Thoughts
It’s wonderful to see how Local Guides come together, not just to explore places but also to celebrate, laugh, and make memories. The meetup seems to have been filled with joy and camaraderie, and the photos capture the essence of the day perfectly. I can sense the excitement for the next meetup already!
Thank you to @NERKARAMIT for hosting such a delightful event, and to everyone else for making it special.
Can’t wait to hear more about your future meetups!
Let’s make it a regular practice for all. It was my pleasure sharing the certificate with you, but I forgot to give chocolates along with that. Next time, for sure!
@TusharSuradkar I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for your kind words. We are always excited to have a great time and will definitely be there in the next meetup.
