I created a new location on google maps and it got published. It has good reviews and i added photos as well which have many views. Suddenly i see the location missing and all the photos i added showing as unknown location. Why is this happening ? Any clue?

You added a building that is under construction so someone else, or most probably Google, removed it, because you cannot add a business that is not already active. Also, is this a business? What category did you used for adding that place?

The place is a new housing society where i live. I used Housing society as category. Not sure why it was removed. I haven’t received any notification as well about any issue. Can i get it back on Map?

Is it a management with an office accessible to the public, with the possibility of receiving visitors at set times and answering their phone calls, or a cooperative between residents?
An activity, to be added to Maps, must meet specific characteristics, otherwise the answer is no.
When a place is removed you will not reveive any notification

It is a residential society with around 80 houses. I am one of the residents there. I added photos that were taken in last few months. The society is constructed and occupied now. We live there. We can say it is a cooperative of residents.What can be done to restore the location. It is important for residents in our society to share the address details.
If I understand correctly, the answer is no, @Praveen88 . Not an official management, nor an office accessible to a generic public at defined hours. The place should not be in Maps.
The residents do not need a point of interest in maps, to show where they live, they simply need to share their address
