Public Review Count Mismatch / Missing Master Reviewer Badge (No Restrictions Confirmed)

Hi Local Guides Connect Team and Community Moderators,

I am seeking assistance with a persistent public visibility and synchronization issue on my Local Guides account.

Here are the details of my issue:

  • My Signed-In Dashboard Status: Shows Level 7, Master Reviewer Badge, and 100+ written reviews.
  • My Public Profile Status (Incognito/Other Accounts): Displays only 58 reviews, and my Master Reviewer badge is completely missing.
  • Official Appeal Status: I submitted the Local Guides Appeal Form and received a response from Google Support confirming that “there are no feature access restrictions impacting your account at this time.”

Since support has confirmed my account has no active bans or restrictions, this appears to be a backend indexing or automated filter sync issue. All of my reviews are organic, unpaid, and based on genuine personal experiences.

Could a Google Moderator please review my profile ID or escalate this to the technical team for a manual profile sync/refresh?

Thank you for your help!

Welcome to Connect, @XtraXplore , and thank you for writing here.
First of all I want to inform you that I am changing the category of your topic to Google Maps tips & tricks - Local Guides Connect , where we post about our issues.

What the support confirmed is that you can post in Google Maps. This doesn’t guarantee that the posted content will be published. Every content is analyzed separately and, if found to be against the policies, filtered by the AI

In fact we can see that only 58 of your 102 reviews and 185 of your 679 media are public visible.
When a contribution is not visible, it means that the AI filter hide it for supposed violations of the policies.
Also, if a review has some media attached, if just one of the element (text or media) is found to be against the policies, the entire post will be made private (visible only to you.

Of course we cannot comment on what is not publicly visible, but in what we can all see there are a lot of violations of the policies, and several of the public visible contents should be removed.
You write very long, detailed and original reviews. This is good, even if too long reviews are normally useless, most of the time the readers will stop after few lines. But long reviews gives to the filter more to filter.
Self Promotion
in one of the visible review you said “I actually started vlogging this experience because my history with this brand across multiple delivery outlets over the years has been absolutely awesome” - “I actually stopped recording my vlog midway because of this, though I might upload the leftover footage on Instagram later to share the reality.”. Is this an information interesting to know more about the place?
The use of a standard pattern
“Several of your recent reviews start with "I went to this shop a few times back and opted for a ---------- to try their food. To be honest, I have ------ feelings about this visit.”. A canned structure could be filtered because repetitive.

But the biggest issue appears the one with your media.
A lot of your photos are very similar of even duplicate. This is against the policies because it doesn’t add any additional information about the location.
Are 3 photos of the same paint improving the information about the place?

Are 3 photos of a bag taken at your home improving the information about the pharmacy where you bought the medicines?

Are the 3 photos (2 of them blurred) of a bottle improving the quality of the information about the place?

The ones above are just a few examples of the several violations in your visible contributions.
I provided the examples to you for you to understand what can be the potential reason for the AI to hide your contents.

Of course there is the possibility to appeal to have the content restored, but I am a bit reluctant to provide you the link to the appeal form. The reason is that when you fill an appeal the team will check the contributions and, considering what mentioned above, the result of the appeal could be the opposite of what you want.
What about to check the policies, clean the contents and the media, and try to republish your edited contents? Normally it works, and it helps to understand what not to publish in Google Maps
