Greetings to all of you lucky Connect Live 2019 invitees!!! Welcome to San Jose!
I’ve lived in San Jose since 1983 and never did I imagine that it would become the center of the Local Guides world, as it will in November of this year!
After chats with @PaulPavlinovich and @EmekaUlor about locations where they could do meetups while here I’ve decided to create a List!!! Imagine that…
San Jose is a big place so I’ve limited this list to places that are relatively close to downtown San Jose and the host hotel where you all will be staying for the event dates.
My List, San Jose ~ Downtown Parks, has been annotated with my own personal notes.
Hopefully, this information with help you all to plan some fun Meet ups while you’re here, in San Jose!

Thanks heaps @KimberlyAnnG while we might be sad that we’re not seeing you at Connect Live this year I hope you can find time to come to the 36 walk. My wife Chris and I are staying in SJ for a couple of days after Connect and would love to get together (we’ll be SF before CL too if that works better for you).

@PaulPavlinovich I wouldn’t miss the chance to meetup with both you and Chris for anything! I’m sure we’ll find a way to get into some mischief… either before (in SF) or after down my way in San Jose.
