Protect the Environment, Protect your Self and your Loved Ones!

The Gulf of Amvrakikos is a national park which is often characterised as a “mini Mediterranean” and sited near to Preveza at Greece. A tranquil little coastal town, full of hidden secrets. Preveza city lays on the entrance of the Gulf of Amvrakikos, a sea made up of small lakes. Around 290 species of birds as well as plenty of species of fish and plants find shelter in its 450 square kilometres lagoon.

I enjoy posting pictures and well-researched information about places, as well as rating local business that are somehow connected with the Gulf. By doing so, I know that I am helping visitors and locals to learn more about the place, and simultaneously, I am motivating them to protect and preserve our natural heritage.

In addition, I have created a list of four touristic ports that lay on the Gulf (Lefkada, Vonitsa, Aktio, Preveza), where I post pictures and information about the marinas. Such information is valuable to the crew of pleasure sailing boats and yachts, since it helps them choose the best port for them. Simultaneously, I encourage them to combine pleasure with responsibility, and protect the gulf by safely disposing their waste, contributing to the cleanness and life of the gulf.

I am proud to be one of the faces behind “Google Maps”, a platform that is made by the people, for the people. I enjoy this dynamic way of enriching the platform with pictures and information, while facilitating our everyday life. It is beautiful to know that behind every place on google maps there is a person who loves it and wishes to share its beauty with the rest of the community, just like I do.

I love posting pictures of this marvellous area as well as providing well-researched information about the place. I aim to feature the beauty and importance of Amvrakikos Gulf and most importantly, motivate my audience to protect the gulf, its wildlife as well as the traditional way of life of the locals around it.

Warm regards!
