Problem solved, about points incorrectness...

I’m an avid user of Google local guides, last week I remembered my points was around 33,000

(can’t remember precisely, but it’s about 33K).

However, when I checked the score today, it’s only 29,028…

As a result, nearly 4K of my points disappeared all out of sudden!

There’s no reminder or alert about such thing…if it wasn’t that I checked the score almost everyday,

I might not even be able to discover such horror!

When I checked the results in the afternoon, it’s back to normal now…I guess it might be a technical problem from Google’s server.

I can’t have any idea on this why your losing points. Your saying now it’s 29,028 but i have visited your profile for me it’s showing 31,922 points?

If you think confirmly your points are lost you can use a form it’s called Local Guides Appeal Form (i think you can make an request here.)

Note : After that form you submitted it’s take few weeks time (i can’t know surely few weeks or few days) also there is no notification for you if your problem solved/not solved.

Also i have saw your photos i am thinking some of your photos are similar (same) to protect your account remove the similar photos. Your added similar photos like zoom in & zoom out what is the use of this? Try to avoid taking duplicate photos. Also it’s against for the Community Policy and your account will be removed i mean are you want to become a former local guide member? To protect your account remove the similar photos immediately.

Btw, when I checked the info this afternoon…all things seemed to be back to normal.

I guess if it’s Google’s temporarily server reporting bug or whatever technical problem.

I also felt the technical issue but sometimes there is a lag in refreshing
