Problem on my account

Hi dear @MoniDi
Good day
Since yesterday all of my edits are immediately rejected and I don’t know why.
As you may also see, I always follow Google Maps and LG’s rules since Map Maker to now.
Also, I help other LG’s in the community to do their bests based on the Google rules.
Because this is something different from “Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?” I think it would be good to ask you for help.
So please check my profile, if possible, and help my account to gets to the normal status.

Can you please share details of some of the edits?
Typically, whether these were the creation of new places or data correction or merging/deleting of some of the POIs?

Further, I understand from similar threads earlier that whenever there is any surge in spam edits, further requests from that particular region may get locked. Are the other LGs from your neighbourhood facing the same problem?

I told this is about all edits both on the web and app.
No matter if it is correcting the category, name, or reporting for merge.
I’m aware there may be some locking for edits in one area some while but as I asked from others in my area, their edits have normal status, And at least their edits will go pending (because of the delay due to the pandemic) but all my edits get not applied instantly and this means something is wrong about my account.

I agree with you. Sometimes and pretty randomly all edits are rejected or put in the eternal waiting list of pending edits. It’s like a random thing. Edits that normally will be accepted right away suddenly does not. I tried to interpret what the cause could be by looking at the edits. But I’m unable to see a logical pattern. It seems that when this happens it’s best to lay off making edits and try again later - like the next day.

So I don’t think it’s a problem with your account. No, it a general issue we all experience now and then.

I hope @MoniDi will be able to cast light on what is going on.

I totally agree and hope it to be a temporary problem.
I also stopped editing and will check again tomorrow. But I also described the issue here to see if there any other user who faced this problem these days or not, and also as you mentioned, to get help from Googlers to be sure about what’s going on

I know, but even simple edits like correcting the category are being rejected.
As dear Morten mentioned this is not something as usual.
I’ve tested again right now on another place and again not applied instantly.
Let me check again tomorrow and tell the result.

Do you mean that answers affect editing status? This seems good.
But I always contribute based on real information.
I never randomly answer the system questions.

I’ve tested from Monday and I didn’t receive not-applied instantly.

Although I think it is not normal status like the past, because pending and not applied edits are more than before, While previously most of my edits were applied due to correctness and accurate edits.
Accordingly, it seems the delay due to the Coronavirus ended (because the system doesn’t show related notice while editing anymore), and so I think pending edits are not because of the system changes during Covid19, it is something strange.

I think my account needs to be checked because all my edits are “Not Applied” instantly since yesterday. It seems that my edits banned while I always try to fix errors on the map and clean the map to be more reliable and samely accessible for all.

Thank God my account’s status is normal.
I also think it should be checked by Googlers to solve the problem.

You’re right. In such cases, no one can help except Googlers.
