Problem in Updating Mobile Numbers on Local Business

Dear Friends,

I am creating the Google Listing of the Local Business for Helping them.

Many times i found that the Listing was Published but Contact No. Was not updated.

Even i tried from Google My Business App After it verified, number shows in review for some days, after that it removed.

I am facing this issue with all listings.

Kindly suggest me best method to update mobile number on BUSINESSES.

Hi @Gvipin

Phone numbers are prone to spam hence they are made difficult to change.

Make sure phone numbers are registered in the name of the business. So prepaid numbers and phone numbers listed to a private individuals are seldomly accepted.

You can try local online databases of phone numbers. If the number can not be found online to belong to the business and the same address it is not likely to get approved.

Same problem I’m facing for addition of mobile no of my own business , mobile no is also registered on my name only… But still it is not getting approved by google team.

Why don’t google verify mobile no by sending a confirmation msg to the mobile no. itself.

For your own business @anupalbajaj you should visit https://business.google.com/ and claim your business profile and do all your edits from there.

Managing business profiles is for the business themselves to do normally @Gvipin as you are in SVTP you should seek information and help from the Street View Support community https://support.google.com/street-view-trusted#topic=9365282

If you are not officially acting as an agent for the business at their request I would recommend against doing what you’re doing. Don’t claim businesses that are not yours.
