Problem in update locality information and adding road

I am unable to update or correct information of of locality wich are round by red lines, why? I am trying this from 2 years but no results i found. I ask the developers , as a local guide dors i have no rights to edit locality and road information. I am also trying to add a single road for 2 years, first successfully submitted then it goes to pending in edit list then not applied

I am totally disappointed by those map work.

Hi @M_hasan69

I’m sad to hear about your dissapointing results.

Please read Why is my edit status ā€œPendingā€ or ā€œNot Appliedā€? if you haven’t already done so.

You may also find How to make sense of Google’s responses to your edits interesting since Approved, Not applied, and Pending are explained in more detail.

Currently I’m on a very successful streak. About 95 percent of all my edits get approved right away. But I also spend quite a lot of time studying the guidelines and learning from all the feedback We get on edits and additions.

Cheers

Long answer short, you need someone to verify your entry.

Thanks for your support but I am still confuse why system or local map guider denied my corrections though i trying to update correctly.

I suggest you pick one problem only and share relevant links, coordinates and all the data you are trying to add related to the place. Also make sure that the information can be verified online that is in online phone directories and websites for the place.

The filters are not likely to trust you unless the information can be validated automatically online.

Over time the system will start trusting you more and more as you are successful in doing edits and additions.

India has been hit hard by spam in the past so the filters are tough in order to block spam getting onto the map.

You may need to make a lot of simple and easily verifiable edits and additions before you can complete the ones you have in mind now.

You are dealing with computer algorithms and not staff so repeating the same edits and additions over and over is easily detected and intreprited as spam.

It is not easy to build trust. It can take months.

Best of luck

Morten
