Princes Cake from Sverige

This is a Swedish specialty cake offered to guests they respect. This cake consists of alternating layers. The taste is very tasty, soft, and melted in the mouth.
This cake was given to us when visiting the mediagymnasiet school in Nacka Sweden. Yummmiiii …

Delicious @fafaguru ! I know this type of cake very well from my childhood. We have it in Denmark as well but we call it “kringle” instead.

Just to let you know, I’ve removed the accepted solution from the comment in your post since it doesn’t need a solution. Only posts in the How-tos section will most often require a solution.

It sounds like you tried a real one @fafaguru , they’re just too good.

I’m not sure how exactly they are made in Sweden or if they have different kinds, but my favorite one is when it’s served with a sugary glaze on top. It adds even more sweetness to it and it’s irresistible.
