@Pavol it is the same process as adding roads: (on Android) go to the Contribute tab and there select ‘Edit the map’. Then you get a page where 1 of the options is ‘Missing Road’. You can then just draw the path and at the end indicate the type of road it is.

I have ios iPhone.
ich habe keine Möglichkeit in dem Untermenu Karte bearbeiten. Nur maps ändern oder Datenproblem melden. Nur diese 2.
I see @Pavol , then that is indeed a problem as it is probably only available on Android. My suggestion: work together with another local guide near you who has an Android phone.

The feature you are expecting is not available in the IOS version of the Maps app at present.
You have to make a suggestion in the idea exchange to have that possibility.
Nevertheless, if you are prepared to take some more efforts, you can do that even on your iPhone.
For that, you have to open the web version of Maps through the Chrome browser. That will prompt to open in the app but select stay on the webpage. Next, request a desktop site. Once done, you will get all the editing features available on a desktop including the suggestion to add roads. Here’s a screenshot from an iPhone.

Thus, if you don’t have access to an Android device or a desktop, through this route you can still do that on an iPhone.
