It is been quite long that I had been to "warangal " a town in Telangana and is 140 km from Hyderabad . I like this place due to its history and culture. It was actually called Orugallu and ruled by one of the finest kingdoms “Kakatiya’s”. I love 1000 pillars temple or rudreshwara swamy or shiva temple. It is been built by kadamba architecture.
Potatoes is one of the good restaurants in Warnagal ,we find it accidental as we were travelling. By the name I felt it let us try. We went for lunch for potatoes late in the afternoon around 3.00 pm. I love the ambiance, just relaxed for 5 minutes by sitting in a small couch. Potatoes is very small,and cryspy. It has a small garden in front of it with different design to attract the customers.
Food is very tasty, thank god it was only a restaurant they do serve soft drinks ,juices but not alcohol . We ordered Masala Papad,rotis,Mushroom curry, and some soft drinks. I love curd rice over here . The main difference of curd rice in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh or elsewhere is, Curd rice is served with fruits in Andhrapradesh where as curd is served with fried nuts in Telangana.
