What does the Local Guides program mean to you?

The first time I got a notification to comment my experience in Helados Amanecer a very small Business near home, it was a surprise for me due is a very small store that I knew from my son´s friend. I don´t know if that works for the small business, several months later they have changed the place adding tables in front and expanding the commercial space.
The idea of connecting people in this program is a very good opportunity to help other persons to decide if they go to a restaurant, if they can ask for the special of the house or just spend a good time hearing live music and watching the landscape. On the other hand, it is a way of helping small businesses to have more clients who are currently better informed that they can virtually visit the place just by looking at some photos or reading reviews of the place.
The photos I have taken on some trips help others to know the place without being there, thanks to this they can be with me virtually, knowing the place with my own eyes, it is a pleasure to share experiences with those who are interested.
I like being part of this community because I feel that I help with my comments to future visitors and business owners, once I received a note from a hotel manager saying that he would improve the buffet service for guests, and so he did it.
