Can I post same photos taken by me to multiple forums? For example to Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram? I am talking about photos without any watermarks. @PaulPavlinovich
@GhazalaShah , Of course, we can. We are the copyright owner of our photos and we have the right how we share our photos. And here in Connect we are encouraged to share photos only taken by ourself.
Thanks @SaifIS , you are always a help! Jeo…
@SaifIS How about uploading duplicating photos ( same photos) in maps?
Of course you can @GhazalaShah they are your images you can do what you want with them.
@Mr_Prach Posting duplicate photos are against the policy. Quoting from here.
"Dark, blurry, and redundant photos will be removed. Users who duplicate photos across locations, or post images that infringe on copyrights, will also be removed."
What happens if the name is same and mistakenly uploaded photo to that name and later, again uploaded to the original place? and also uploading photos in two different places near by where one single name is enough to coverage hole area?
- In that case, delete the photo from the first location. To avoid this always select the location on maps and upload photos from there instead of sharing photos from gallery share option.
- The thing is we should not upload the same photos twice in any way. If you think there should not be two different locations then you can report them as duplicate.
Hi @Mr_Prach it’s not allowed at present. But your idea is brilliant. Before joining Connect, I sent this to Google maps via feedback: that a photo covering many places may be tagged likewise.
