Using google maps is an important needed these day, because most of the people in the world spend their time more outside home every day.
Last year, I had traveling to 6 countries in Europe, a continent that is so far far away from home. But I had no worried about visited a new place because I just have click my maps, searching, and viewing what kind of places that I would visit, where it was, and how it looks, what is the best food to try, and what style of photo which is cool to try. If there is no information about that, it is my responsible to discover the place in order the other people will get the information easily.
In my country, especially in my small city, there are many places didn’t created yet, a little information, and small business still not available on google maps. Like a small restaurant, repair service car or electronic whereas google maps can help them known by public. Especially tire repair service on the street. One time I got my car tire blow out and I need tire services closest, I found one place but this was not on maps yet, so as a Local Guide I tried adding it, hope if there are people got the same thing as me, they don’t need to worry about and get their services.
Almost every month I have to traveling out of town for a business or a short trip and I always take a time to explore the interesting place, give the review and take some pictures. It was so satisfying my self, because can help others know the latest information about the place.
In the future, I will continue to travel and share more of my experience in local guides connect. I will focus more on the culinary part because as you know, Indonesia has a lot of delicious foods to try.
