I have only two simple questions / challenges to answer
What does the Local Guides program mean to you?
I just started contributing a few years ago to google maps with posts (reviews, photos, videos, edits, additions). It didn’t take me any extra, but since you are inherently competitive, I started to enjoy it and then wherever I went, I saw what might interest someone. I tried it, I took a picture, I wrote about it.
But when I put my company profiles as a hobby at work, it got more energy and I wondered how to use the profiles to promote the pharmacies I have. What do people look for, how do they look for it, and why do they look for it? I also thought I could take beautiful pictures, but what good would they do if there was nothing to see. Therefore, for each photo or review, I say that the information provided should be done as the one who wants to see it. Just to be there for something to speak to
What is the most interesting thing you’ve done as a Local Guide?
This is a simple answer for me. It’s a photo that has a deeper meaning for me. It’s a photo of entering the maternity hospital, the day my second son was born. In fact, there is nothing essential to see in the photo, but this photo can show to future new-born parents what awaits them this day and where to go. They have thoughts elsewhere at the moment and therefore the certainty of the information from the photo where to go helps them. And that is the purpose of Local Guides after all
