Believe me, it is Possible….!!!

Although this is a fact, but I am posting this, particularly, to motivate, our Local Guides!

“With God’s grace, I could achieve this Badge in 8 Days. I am proud that I could get valuable supports from our StephenAbraham, JohnPeter & ShaniDeshwal, on time.

#. Although I knew about the Street View, earlier, but I was not serious.

#. The motivation from different LG members (specially, @Gio51x ), I started taking it serious.

#. As an experienced electronic engineer, I did my humble research &I boiled down to “Insta360 ONE” & ordered it.

#. I am sure Insta360 ONE has a definite roll in my success.

#. I took it as an Important Task, and studied both the Camera & SV App very seriously. I received excellent help from, Insta360 website, Google Search & YouTube. (Almost, day & night, I worked, after my professional commitments)

Here is the “Q” Points: (Date & time mentioned are in IST; GMT +5:30)

  1. Received the camera on 6th, September, 2018 night.
  2. 7th, I studied the basic operational aspects, & tested; my knowledge of Electronics, decades of photographic experience & God’s blessings, helped me to frame my own settings!
  3. 8th, along with @JohnPeter (on Mijia 360 Camera) & I, on Insta360 One, started shooting.
  4. The “First Shot” was taken on 8th, around 11.30 AM,
  5. We spent time in Taking shots & reviewing it (on 4K Laptop), almost, every 2 to 3 Hours.
  6. Each time we could better, many aspects; honestly, we discarded very few shots only.
  7. End of my day shooting session, I sat with my computer & mobile, along with Insta360.
  8. Maximum, I avoid editing; although, the ‘TravellerG’ Logo is introduced, in almost all photos.
  9. 13th Sep, 1st 360 photo was uploaded to Google Maps, through Street View mobile App. I have uploaded, 24 Photos, on that day.
  10. 14th too, I uploaded 28 or so photos.
  11. 15th Night, 8:30, I received the Mail (Badge) from Google.

I repeat, here, I am not talking about my achievement, please. I am giving you the confidence, that, if I can do, then, you all can do (I know, many of you have already got it & may be even faster), much better!

Dear friend @LucioV , you all took the pain & taught us everything… You cut short our learning curve and made it easy; also, the development of technology helped a lot. A large extend of the credit goes to the Insta360 ONE Camera - Then after all, we have been caring this ‘Magic Box with the Lens’ for the past few decades, no…? - will it not bless us?

Hi @TravellerG .

This is an amazing thing that you achieved Street View Trusted badge in just 8 days. Becoming a Street View Trusted is one of my dreams. I didn’t started taking Street View photos since currently I didn’t have 360 camera with me and planning to get one as soon as possible. I will take your story to boost myself to achieve Street View badge one day. Thanks a lot for sharing this with us!

This is a FALSE BELIEF…Please correct it… A reasonably good MOBILE can help you to take decent 360 Stills! Videos, I wont advice.

It took more or less the same time to me, with this Virtual tour.

The longest time was to take the photos and to connect everything

After submitting the photos, everything was approved, and I received the badge 10 hours later

Can you tell me the technical process you followed, please?

Please include your settings in Google 360 app regarding the blurring faces and plates.
