Today I got this notification to extend my two week streak and to try and best my pb of eight. Reality is a bit different I’m careful to contribute to Maps in a useful way every week and have a continuous streak that goes back many years. Are others seeing this this too?

Haha, @PaulPavlinovich , I’ve got that message several time. Every time I contribute a lot, to be correct, and they are talking about 
streak.
It seems to be a message to motivate you by letting you know that you are going to break a record
Very different from the usual “You’re on a roll” message

I get them too. I thought they were fairly accurate in my own case. It’s 22 weeks streak for me anyway.

That is a good explanation @ErmesT perhaps that is it - a streak of heightened activity over your normal mundane activity!

This was a demotivating issue for me also in the monthly emails for June and July 2021.
Let me know if the team could use more screenshots to investigate this.

My newest notification was a seven day streak @MortenCopenhagen , I’m told it doesn’t lose the real streak behind the scenes, but that most people are not weird like us contributing all the time :).
