I am Oleksandr and I like to travel. Each place where I go I try to find something unique and beautiful. After that I publish my short review on Google Maps and happy to receive feedbacks from people who also were there. Thus, last year in October I have visited Positano near Neapol, Italy where I really felt like being in Paradise. This rocky place near the sea offers you a marvelous and fantastic views, every step you make opens new and new landscapes which you really enjoy. Rocky beaches and marine sea makes you feel healthy and challenged. Walking the Positano streets you might find an old antique goods shop where his owner could offer you something to remember about that beautiful day in your life. Positano is famous for its ceramics and lemons, and if you are there you could buy a piece of ceramics that usually has lemons or seafood pictures on it. I recommend you try a local drink called lemonchello, it is delicious ! You will never forget this trip to Positano in your life!
Hi @Prokopchuk ,
This is such an interesting story about Positano. From what I can see, it must be a must-visit place. @Sorbe Have you ever been there?

Thanks for your tag @TsekoV .
I have never visited this area, even if it’s well known in Italy, but I was born next to Cinque Terre that looks quite similar to Positano.
For how long have you been there @Prokopchuk ? Did you have the chance to visit other areas during your stay in Italy?
Hi! I have been to Amalfi coast in October 2018 just for 5 days. During our visit we also been to Maiori, Minori, Amalfi and Vila Rufolo. It is really beatiful places there.
Hi @Prokopchuk ,
thanks for sharing your experience in Positano and Amalfi Coast. I’m originally from that region, born in Sorrento actually and I know those places very well. Amalfi coast is a wonderful area, but so big to be visited fully. I see you have done the most central part as it starts from Vietri sul Mare (near Salerno) up to Sorrento on other side of the coast.
There are also boats available which allow you to travel from one side to the other a bit faster and giving you the other perspective of looking at the mountain instead of being on it.
The coast is also very famous for really small but amazing beaches such as Erchie (close to Maiori) but I won’t suggest to visit those places in heavy summer time as you are going to be stuck in traffic and won’t find any parking place anywhere.
I see you also tried the famous (local) Limoncello, indeed very delicious. Next time please try the Meloncello, it is the same kind of liquor but made out of yellow water melon with bit of milk inside. It is sweet compared to Limoncello but still strong and very very delicious, and very difficult to be found outside the area of Naples compared to many different receipts of Limoncello.
Hi @LuigiZ ,
Many thanks for your feedback. We are really were very happy being at Amalfi coast, and enjoyed it very much. I hope that later this year we will visit it again as we have a direct low cost flights from Lviv to Neapol and then, we definitely will test Meloncello there ![]()
Hi @Prokopchuk , oh I just noticed now your reply, sorry for that.
More than welcome and thank you, looking forward to your next visit with a bottle of Meloncello then
.
Nice pictures @Aliya1 , thank you for sharing your experience in this beautiful area.
