I recommend creating a meet-up on our meet-up site and interested Local Guides in your area can indicate their interest via RSVP. You can share your meet-up more widely on your social channels, which may garner your friends or family to become Local Guides too!

thanks for the interaction and links.

I am an active local guide and was exploring ways to get more people in my community to be engaged and contribute to google maps.

is their standard paperwork or standard forms to be filled up for participants of the event, any sample of name cards or things that I can print out to have more exposure while we do the photography walks?

In this recent post you may find all the official recourses Local Guides could use. I think you may find what best fits your idea.

I just want to remind you to be cautious and avoid asking for and/or using personal information such as names.

By the way, as the comment you replied to is a bit outdated, and the organizing meet-ups process went through some changes, here are the updated steps on creating them:

  1. Visit the Meet-ups page on Connect

  2. Click “submit meet-up” and enter all information (including your event link)

  3. Don’t forget to add an original photo

  4. Click submit

Once your submission is approved, it will be added to a dedicated section where you can view and search activities.
