Recently I found out that a popular 5-star hotel’s Google Map Page has been removed from Maps which is definitely a spam activity as the hotel is still running and bookings going on according to their official website.
Which is the newly made page. In the Android app if you minimize the page you’ll see the original POI at the bottom (see the screenshot), then just click on that POI.
Will you be able to dig up an old email you recieved after making an edit to the place? Or maybe you can find this link in your photo contribution list.
I just checked that no one is currently trying to help you with this in the Maps Support Forum, so I will tag @DeniGu to kindly take a look and escalate as you see fit.
Thank you for reporting. We will escalate these missing locations, however, please keep in mind that we cannot respond to every missing place request due to resourcing. We prioritize prominent locations, such as famous sights, culturally important places, and similar.
If you notice a business missing from Google Maps - like the hotel - it’s best to first contact the business owner and tell them about it. The owner can then decide on the next step: if they are enrolled in the Google Business Profile program, they can quickly report their missing listing. If they’re not enrolled yet, they can choose to add their business again and claim it.
For other missing places, you can either add them or send feedback in Google Maps to describe the issue.
