Pope Benedict XIII's Craving

Pope Benedict XIII’s morning craving was Eggs Benedict, the eponymous brunch much loved by all New Yorkers. It is made from rich flavorful Hollaindaise sauce (Dutch sauce), salty and savory Canadian bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and fluffy yet crunchy English Muffins.

Eggs Benedict Day- celebrated each April 16th- is the perfect excuse to cook up a plate of this delicious breakfast meal, and serve it with a side of fried potatoes and of course washed down with Bloody Mary or Mimosa whatever is your poison.

Don’t wait for April 16th. Try it any day when you are touring the USA- you’ll get it in all the big cities there.

Try it and let me know how much you liked it.

Hello @Noimacki ,

Thanks for sharing!

I didn’t know, that there is an Eggs Benedict Day, but I’ll definitely start to celebrate it. I love this breakfast, and once I tried to make it, but it’s super difficult. Whenever I’ve brunch with my friends I order this. Nothing can be better than a muffin, bacon, eggs, and the amazing Holland sauce together. Ok, I can admit that the mimosa is also one of these good things. In Sofia, I’ve had the best Eggs Benedict at Старата Госпожа (Starata Gospoja).

I’m looking forward to your introduction.
