I visited Catalonia, 5 years ago, during the summer holidays. I stayed at a friends space in Manresa. I tried to use my time as best as I could there so I also visited Barcelona, Girona, Vic and had a short trip to Montseny mountains. Visit to the mountains was among my favorite parts, especially since it was one of the few cool places, during summer in the north of Spain (since it was July, temperatures were reaching +40 and it would get even hotter in the urban locations, so you can’t really move around during the day). Another thing the mountain offered was a small creek that was flowing into multiple cascades. Those cascades were holding up and slowing down the water flow so people used them as kind of small pools that would cool them down on a scorching hot summer day. If you bring a beer, it becomes like a spa in nature.

Great photos @Budjism I walked though Catalonia in 2011 and loved it.
Hello @Budjism ,
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us, the area seems so peaceful and calm. Definitely, there is nothing more beautiful than nature!
How far is this area from the closest city? Is it easily accessible?
I used to live in Perpignan, which is very close to this area, however, I didn’t really visit this place. I guess, because I mainly focused on cities such as Girona and Figueras.
Hi @BorrisS
well to be honest, I was taken to the place by friends.
I went from used public transport from Manresa to Barcelona Sants Station and there I met friends and took car. I think you need a car in order to reach this place.
Btw, the name of the river is Tordera.
