This is a good idea and congratulations for coming up with a nice idea like this.
Even though you’re not new on connect,I’ll like to point out that to organise a meet-up you need to use the meet-up section of connect.
To start with your meet-up needs to have a topic or theme related to the local guides program. For instance map edit or photoshot etc. You have to also decide if it’s virtual (Online) or physical in-person meet-up
Next,You write a post and submit it to the team for approvals. If it is approved,it will then be visible on connect. Different ones can then RSVP if they like.
If you can’t get local guides from your planned geographical zone on connect,you can ask on other social media like Facebook,Twitter etc
Hope this will give you an idea of how it works here on connect.
