Well, a few days back I had visited these 2 beautiful places located near Chennai City in India. Pondicherry has an influence of French and Tamil Culture. You can see beautiful old houses, enjoy some delicious food in the popular Cafes and restaurants here. There are some beautiful beaches in Pondicherry which are worth a visit.
Mahabalipuram is also a good place for a short stay. You can find structures with old architecture and heritage monuments in this place. Also, there is an interesting Shell Museum here. Mahabalipuram has some luxurious Hotels and Resorts with good facilities and amenities.
