Last couple of weeks ago i visited a eastern and hilli district Rangamati of Bangladesh. I have visited a few tourist places in Rangamati, today I will share my travel experience at Polwel Park, in Rangamati with local guides in the connect forum.
The Polwel Park is one of the popular tourist attractions in Rangamati district; this park is managed by Rangamati District police. A lot of tourists visited this place every day, one side of the park is deigned for luxuries cottages so anyone can hire a cottage. The park is situated on the bay of the Kaptai Lake and in the eastern side of the Rangamati town. The hilli district Rangamati is full on natural beauty and the park is one of them.
Anyone can go by road or river way, so if you go by road then you need to take a CNG from the city or from your hotel or If you want to go by boat then you can take it from Rangamati Hanging bridge, Parjaton Complex area.
There is a Mini Zoo inside the park, where you can see Deer, Rabbit, Birds, and many more animals. There are a few kids ride available here like Magical Boat, Toy train, Horse ride and many more. You can also enjoy boating. anyone can enjoy natural beauty of lots of the park and green trees, and also from the pick of the park you can enjoy beautiful scenario of the Kaptai Lake.
There are few restaurants here so foodies can enjoy different types of delicious foods, coffee, Tea, Ice cream. The fruit lovers can enjoy varieties of local fruits like Green Coconut, Papaya, Pineapple, Banana, Sweet Tamarindus and many more.
Transport: anyone can go by road or Boat from the Rangamati town to reach the park.
Opening Time: The Polwel Park is open from morning to till sunset.
Ticket: The entry frees is 20BDT for Adult and Kids is free.
