Points not updating (photo views and first photo)

None of the in the title mentioned points have been updating lately, though I uploaded many photos and received many views. Anybody else with the same problem?

Please be informed that sometimes it may take more than 72 hours for points to be updated on your account!

Please give us a bit more time and reach out back in a few days if the problem still persists. Your patience is highly appreciated.

@MashaPS - thank you for your fast reply and moving my post to the correct section. I meant to post there, but didn’t know how to since there was no “post something” option.

My points for any kind of pics (first photo uploaded, views,…) haven’t been updated in over a week at least, though I am posting (and receiving views) daily.

It seems to me that the number of my photos in Google maps is frozen. Is there anything I can do about that?

Sometimes it takes more then usual time to be updated on google maps user account.

so wait for a little i hope it’ll updated soon.

I agree @sandorjan78 , I have been at the same number for more than 4 weeks despite adding 200-300 pics in recent days.

Thank you for the follow-up. The points updated the day after I wrote the message, but have stalled again ever since.

Often I find, the points, likes, views and badges are not getting updated. Appreciate if you could look in to.

Though I don’t emphasize on it much, it shouldn’t be happening at intervals.

I also experience that problem frequently @aaryesdee
I understand that the response of the server becomes slow whenever any significant modification is in progress.
However, the statistics do receive an update over time.

Hi @aaryesdee , I understand that we want everything to be updated instantly. But It takes some time to sync everything across badges and devices. And sometimes there are temporary issues that cause delays in updating the stats. So I’d suggest that you be patient and wait for it to update. From my experience, I can say that you may have to wait at least one week for things to update. And sooner or later thing is going to be updated, so nothing to worry about.

Im not in a hurry nor bothered whether it happens or not. But it’s a Perinial problem which highlighted by several as well as me. So no hard feelings.

I’m very patient about it.

I’m happpy to report, that I see gradual improvements in the frequency at which the photo view and points are updated. I see updates at least every second day. That is a huge improvement compared to when there were 10+ days between recounts.

Local guide photos view count is not changing since last 3 days… pls fix this bug.

It may take some time for all of the data to sync up again.

I also want to mention that points are awarded per high-quality contribution of a place and all contributions must be made public. Some of your contributions may be marked private if they do not adhere to our policies (reviews, photos and videos, community).
