Back in May 2020 I started a 10 week photography workshop series that aimed to teach photography concepts pertinent to Local Guides. The series was hugely successful with around 50 participants each week. The workshops were interactive and driven by the audience in addition to my prepared content. They became one of the major social activities for Local Guides during the year we all want to forget 2020. As we approach the one year anniversary I am setting up a celebration of Local Guides Photography which is open as a reunion event to the original participants and will also welcome new participants. The session will be held using Google Meet at sunday 21st March 8pm AEDT (Melbourne UTC+11) and run for around 1.5 hours.
Before the meet I want you to find the photo in Google Maps of yours that you are most proud of and submit the link on the RSVP form instructions on how to do that are on the form.
I look forward to seeing the OG and to meet new people at this meetup.
Google Meet limits me to 100 people. The meet will be streamed live with a dump delay to YouTube where you will be able to watch there too and comment in the chat if you wish. This is a good option for people who are a bit shy and who just want to watch. You can see it at https://youtu.be/opm6Fvg0Ttk
