Please help!

Can someone explain why my reviews are not shown by google???

Hey @emmaworld

I can see that you have reviewed two places and you have received the points for the same. Currently the reviews are not being published due to the COVID-19 issues. This is normal. You might have seen a note about this in the app while publishing your review, something like this one:

No need to panic. The situation will get back to the normal.

@VinayKrishna in additions to your points I would like to add one thing that reviews to be made by your own. Before the plagiarism techniques find us we must avoid all such contents.

Hi @emmaworld - sorry to hear you’re having this issue. Adding onto what other Guides have mentioned already, is your profile restricted? This may potentially be a reason. Here’s how to check:

1. Click on your avatar in Google Maps and select “your profile”

2. Click on “profile settings”

3. Scroll towards the bottom and look for “restricted profile.” Confirm whether or not you have this selected.

Hope this helps in some way and we are able to help you resolve this!

@emmaworld

You write only 2 Reviews.

May be your reviews are considered as private, by owners of place.

I ask question, which are those 2 places?. Public place or private place.

As mention by @SP31 , follow his advice, I strongly agree with him.

And for more helps follows these replies from @TPattanaik @VinayKrishna

Hello @emmaworld

I find you to be new on to Maps as well as Connect.

There are three possible reasons for review not being visible to the public.

  1. It may be so that you have chosen not to display that. However, the setting wouldn’t be apparent to a newcomer.
  2. Any new contribution goes through scrutiny & that is taking time because of the resource crunch at present as highlighted in the temporary product changes. My experience is, it takes 3-4 days for a contribution to be visible to the public.
  3. Sometimes, the system determines the review to be objectionable because of non-conformance to User contributed content policies. I that case, that review would continue to remain private, unless you take some action to remove the undesirable content.

Nevertheless, I find your profile icon (DP) to be a picture visible in the public domain. That may be copyrighted. Trust you have obtained rights to use that.
