PLEASE HELP WITH MY NEW LOCAL GUIDE ACCOUNT

Hello,

I created a Local Guide account using the email account of my company, I didn’t know that this can’t be possible and of course my account was banned from posting or reviewing places, I did what Local Guides Connect recommended, I created a brand new email account, started reviewing places and earning points, now I returned to Local Guides Connect and noticed that my new Account is banned too, what’s wrong? could you please verify what’s wrong now?

The last Local Guides Connect was frankguillen the new one is frankguillen because this is my name.

PLEASE HELP!

According to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions , that you had to accept to join the Local Guides Program, “Contributions to Google Maps must originate from a single Google account to count towards benefits and cannot be transferred between owned accounts.”

Let me try to understand:

You had one account, that was suspended, and you created a new account, while you already have this one, so totally three different accounts.

BTW, I am surprise about what you wrote: “I did what Local Guides Connect recommended”. Nobody, not a Google Moderator nor a Connect Moderator will tell you anything like that "to create a new account because the first one was banned.

Who is banned is not the account, is the person who manage it

The only thing I did wrong was to use an company account for my local guide, I did not violated any other rule. For the new account I started Re-Reviewing all the places, because the reviews are not transferable from account to account.

The problem may be that I use a computer that has two local guide accounts and everytime I try to login with my new one I have the banned message and have to close the old account.

I started reviewing or adding new locations with the old account because it’s banned.

I would like to remove or close the banned account but I can’t find where to do that.

What I really believe is that somebody using this computer created or login with a new account, because I was using ONLY one account, then get banned. This is a computer used by 2 or more persons, there are a few gmail accounts attached to the office computer and it may be that anybody could have logged in with any other account and the banned happened.

What I review are personal experiences, only places that I have visited with the family and friends, nothing else, so the banned just surprised me.

I had a good reception from the owners of those places and everything was just fine, but the banned forced me to re-start from ZERO and to make a review like the last beach hotel my family visited will be too difficult, because I did that review the last day at the hotel with the good experience still hot, It was a good review and a few thousand people did enjoyed it. Now I don’t have the same feeling about writing more than 2000 words to end up banned again.

The smart thing to do is close or remove the other banned accounts, only one was used by me and is banned, so I only need the new one. the others are now useless.

Hello, I need to close all the accounts that are NOT being used, I have lost my Level 8 Badge and points for a small mistake that I don´t know how happened.

Please Help me closing the old accounts, I will only need this one.

We recommend that you exit the program on your corporate email when you’ve signed up on your personal email. Hope this is helpful!

Just as a reminder, don’t forget when responding to others make sure to tag them (by writing @ before their names) in a post so they can receive notifications that you are communicating with them.

Hello @MashaPS I have tried a dozen times to exit or remove the account with printqmedia, it has been impossible, there is not way to get to the EXIT PROGRAM page because the account is banned or something, I don´t need any other account and I think that there is a problem when I try to login with printqmedia, the Local Guide page keeps asking me to join the program and there is not way to get to the page to remove the account.

I´ve tried remove any other accounts, I only need this one because this is my personal account.

When I tried to login it ask me to join the service.

Sorry but I am not familiar with the “Printqmedia” platform you are mentioning.

Please use the link I have previously shared (https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings), scroll down to the “Exit program” line and follow the steps provided.
