I have 2 google accounts. The very active one is what I use for my local guide and I’m at level 6. The other account which is at level 2 (and I want to exit that one) happens to be interfering with the level 6 account. I’m trying to apply for the Connect 2020 but when I click on the apply button, it takes me to the level 2 account page and asks me to level up and apply. Does this makes sense? Please help me!

You need exiting one account immediately.
Trust, you signed into another LG account unknowingly. Else if you delay your actions, both the accounts stand the danger of getting locked.

I have tried to search for how to exit the other account but I just can’t! Would you be able to give me the steps to exit?

First, open a browser window in an incognito mode.
Next enter the following link
https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings
The browser will ask you to sign-in first. Use the credentials of the account which you wish to exit & follow all the required steps including two factor authentication if any.
Once done, the local guides page will load. Scroll down & at bottom right corner you will find the option “Exit program”. That’s all.

First of all, you should exit the Local Guides program in one of the accounts as you should have never had two accounts in the program because it violates the rules.
You can exit the program on the chosen account by going to the settings of your Local Guides account and selecting on the button to exit.
Once you did that, you can try applying. You are most likely logged in with the level 2 account, so you should log out the google account for that one and log in in the level 6 account, or open an incognito internet browser anywhere and log in with the Google account in which you are a level 6 Local Guide and apply.
