what’s the point of having so many pictures about the same thing of the place where we are?
My real passion as a local guide is posting what no one have seen before, what no one posted before and I like to be the first one to show a new “angle” of the place. I love to write opinions too!
For example, a few months ago, I had to pick a package in a place that didn’t have any picture! Just had the address and I was really scared because I didn’t know how it looked, thought I was going to get lost, so when I finally was there, first thing I did was to take the picture. I thought about all that people in my situation, going there for first time just wanting not to get lost and the funny part is… not even was a good picture, just the name of the office and how it looked outside… a blue + white building, in that moment that was enough to me and I didn’t know how useful that was going to be, I felt good because I know that I made “the difference”. 8K views has been the result so far!
Also I love to discover places that need “more attention”, restaurants, hotels, parks, cinema, sometimes they need more pictures or more comments, I think that’s my favourite part, a good or bad but honest experience written there definitely can say more than a picture. I like to write about every detail that I see or hear being there… the prices, the taste, the attention, if it is a big or small place, the opening and closing hour, general cleaning…
The reason why I love to write every detail is probably because my mom always told me when I was younger: “ask everything” so I think that’s the reason why my opinions are like that… always wanting to know and show everything, cause I bet that many people is so curious like me!!
I would say that I’m always looking for a chance to show something new!
Also another good experience that I had being a local guide was adding to a map my aunt’s business, she just started a few months ago and was very happy when I told her about it!
