Hello friends!
I hope you had a nice weekend!
This time I want to tell you about an incredible place I visited last week, the Plaza Matriz. This square is located in a historic place in Callao, the main port of Peru. In this place, you can see art, the main church in the area, the Iglesia Matriz, a great culinary offer and a beautiful and picturesque boulevard that may take us emotionally to the past.
It is in this boulevard where the now-famous colored ribbons are located, a place where local and foreign visitors want to take pictures. Besides, it is very nice to walk through these stables full of very creative urban art. I got lucky, the day was perfect, light breeze, and sunny.
Being so close to the sea the gastronomic offer is generous and delicious. Here you can try typical Peruvian dishes, such as fish ceviche, mixed or black shells. The famous “tiger’s milk”. The relation quality price is great because they are affordable without that means small portions or lower quality.
Here I share a few pictures of this place that you might find interesting!
All the best!
