Unfortunately, our originally planned meeting had to be cancelled for practical reasons. HOWEVER, I would like to keep this post alive, so that local guides, living near Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife Spain, have a means to communicate with each other.

The aim of this discussion-group is to focus on improving Google Map details in our area. Once we are established as a group, the plan is to initiate a local meet-up as originally intended.
We meet at bar/ restaurant Amarca for a coffee and to get to know each other. Then we start checking map data of businesses and sights and add or correct data accordingly. We probably need to visit places to answer the Google questions we may not know. We gather again at the restaurant to discuss what we have done. For those who enjoy the company of their fellow guides, we can have lunch at Amarca after our official meeting. Make sure to bring your smartphone or tablet. Amarca has free wi-fi for those that do not have an unlimited data plan with their phone carrier.
I am sorry to inform those who planned to join me at Amarca Restaurant on Tuesday, that the meeting has now been officially cancelled.
