Planting tree is a fun

@TravellerG
You have organized a beautiful challenge that will help contribute, in a small but meaningful way, to the enrichment of our environment.

In the lines “Vrukshavalli amha soyare vanachare” from the Pasaydan, it is expressed that trees and vines are like our friends, and we should care for them as lovingly as we would care for a child—because they will ultimately benefit us in the long run.

Due to increasing industrialization and population, deforestation is happening on a large scale, and its effects are visible all around us. We have reduced the habitats of animals to build tall buildings, but in doing so, we have snatched away their homes. Today, animals entering human settlements is no longer surprising—because it is we who have taken away their space. Similarly, we have cut down a large number of trees, which has led to a decline in the oxygen that we need for survival, yet we continue to ignore this fact. That is why we must once again embrace the slogan: “Plant trees, save trees.”

Recently, many companies have been undertaking various initiatives under the banner of Corporate Social Responsibility. Among these, activities such as planting trees, restoring hill areas, and creating gardens should be emphasized.

While I was a member of the Corporate Activity team at Cummins India Limited, we planted nearly 200 trees on Chaturshringi Hill in Pune.

In schools around Kolhapur, there was a tradition of gifting a tree to the school on one’s birthday. So, on every birthday, it was customary to donate a tree and a book to the school. If such initiatives are encouraged from school life itself, children develop a sense of attachment to trees and start taking care of them as well.

At my home, since we have ample space, we have planted many trees, including fruit-bearing trees like mango and sapodilla (chikoo).

My father is now retired so he is taking care of plants and becouse of his energetic performance we all enjoyed variety of fruits, flowers at our home garden.

He is very busy in taking care of plants and planting new plants.
I want to share some flowers plants

These lovely plants gives us happiness.

Because of these trees many types of birds, honey bees, colourful butterfly we can see in our garden that is the best thing of nature which we can enjoy at home.
So planting is big fun.try to grow atleast one plant on your birthday which gives you happiness and smile.

Hi @Supriyadevkar
Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring post. Trees are essential for the survival of different species and for humans as well. I believe we need development but not at the cost of deforestation as I have seen in many places where trees are being cut to make the roads broader. But we need to save them and atleast initiate planting the trees in other places. Thank you once again for this post.

Hello dear fellow LG @Supriyadevkar
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you for this wonderfully conceived and presented post…:ok_hand::heart_with_ribbon:
Excellent contribution, dear friend - thank you so much.

You got the point very well! Uncaring attitude towards the plants and trees is a major challenge…

I would say… Plant Trees and “Save Earth”

That is a new piece of information - thanks for sharing… and congratulations to you too!

Such initiatives are very vital; well, fortunately, this practice is seen in different parts of India - from primary school to High school, they see the plant becoming a tree.
Children are made responsible for watering the plants, etc.

Great attitude of your father …highly respect it… kindly convey our best regards to him, please.
Plants/and trees have to be cared more than a pet.

Very true, dear friend… even with a dozen of simple pots, our plants attract many of these…

Lovely photos and excellent narration.
Once again thank you for your detailed post, dear Supriya.

You have a beautiful garden @Supriyadevkar . Thanks to your father for taking care of the garden. In my school too on birthdays, children will present one sapling and are asked to plant by themselves. Now they have to stop, because the is no space, in spite of having a big garden space. The mango tree is exclusive.
