Does anyone know if the plan drawings on maps yields points? There is a lot of work to make them, and they contribute a lot to help people finding their way around the buildings.

Yes. If you are talking about drawing roads on the maps. It yields 15 points when they are approved. Here is 
An article to that effect. I have drawn 270 roads myself and still counting.

If you mean the streets/paths between buildings @Heiselberg : yes, as @SholaIB mentioned, this is bringing 15 points per submission. If you mean inside buildings: no, that is only possible for content partners (e.g. shopping mall owners, universities etc) cooperating with Google.

As I understand it everyone can add a plan drawing in a building. That was what I was asking about, not the pathways around.

Thank you for being more precise about your question. It pays to always be clear and precise when you ask a question on connect so as to get a corresponding response or solution.
Now I don’t think private building plans are a part of Google Maps. That’s a personal or private issue. The location,the street or area,paths around a building,roads etc That’s all I know when it comes to Maps.
Watch out for better response from others if there are.

Are you refering to the building outline shown on Google Map in standard view?
These are normally generated automatically based on the latest satellite or arial photos. If something needs to be corrected then you need to raise the problem in the Maps support forum.
Hit the Community tap at the top and make a post.
Or you can send feedback in apps.
I got a few ghost building removed this way, but normally it is not worth the effort. I would say: Just wait for the next set of sattelite images and the issue is proabably fixed automatically.
If you are refering to the floor plans as used by shopping centers, hospitals, some universities, and airports. Then this is not something Local Guides can edit or create.

Only property owners and their authorized representatives can upload floor plans as mentioned here.
Indoor Maps are only available in the areas listed here.

Fixing building outlines and uploading Floorplan (indoor maps) is not something Local Guides can earn points for.
