why i love sharing on Google Maps?
there are several reasons why i love sharing on Google Maps. first, i love to help other people and i know Google Maps do that every day. it certainly helps me when i travel to a new place to experience something new: new attractions or sights and foods. if i can help Google Maps and others, then i’m part of the solution!
second, i love the idea of helping Maps be better than before. every experience, attraction, sights, and/or restaurants/foods review or comment i add to Maps make it better. making things better is rewarding and me helping Maps is very rewarding.
third, i love going back and documenting everything in writing. this allows me to take the experience and not forget it and not take it for granted. when i reread it on Google Maps, it reminds me that it happened, so i’m not forgetting that every entry was a gift.
finally, i love adding my comments and reviews to Google Maps, because it is also a historical record of my travels, experiences and reflections on where i’ve been to, things i’ve tried to do and eat, and my thoughts afterwards. it makes me reflect and think on it, so i can be more introspective.
i’m passionate about finding these experiences and foods, and sharing it with Google Maps. i hope my essay tells you why i’m happy to do it!
