Place to visit in Kathmandu Nepal:
First of all Nepal is a small country in between China and India. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. If you are planning to go to Nepal or you are going Nepal then you have to visit some amazing places in Kathmandu.
- Swayambhunath: Actually it is the holly place for the Buddhist Religion but all other religions are also welcome in this place. From this place you can see the amazing view of Kathmandu. The nickname for this is “Monkey temple”. If you want to go away from the crowded place then it is the best place in Kathmandu. Stupa(The big white dome having the picky thing in the top) has 4 sides and in every side eyes painting is there. According to the religious belief, Among the four eyes two represent the good and two represent the evil eyes. Most people believe that if you want to go to the top then you have to go by facing the good eyes towards you.
2)Thamel:
This is the tourist place in Kathmandu and best place to visit by walking because you can smell the good incense and walk by listening peaceful kind of music. You can spend you 2 to 3 hours by walking there and you can understand the nature of the people too. You can see all the cultural dresses of Nepal. If you want to exchange the currency you can change the currency in this area but make sure that you change to the best place. This is the one of the clean area in Kathmandu also. If you are planning to do a camping or trekking then you can buy all the stuff for camping or trekking in this area but one suggestion is before buying you have to know the actual price of that thing because sometime they tell you a lot.
- Narayanhiti Palace Museum:
Narayanhiti was the place of king around 12 yrs ago but right now it is a museum. If you want to learn about the history of Nepal or you want to know how the king of Nepal used to live then this is the best place to visit. The entrance fee is different for foreigner but to pay 80 dollar is worth it. You will get chance to know all about the history of Nepal and the life style of king. This is the best place to visit for knowledge and for the some fun.
- Durbar Square:
There are 4 Durbar Squares. Durbar Square mean king palace, This is also the palace of king before the around 1750. The city Kathmandu was divided into 4 small nations and all the nations has different king. After certain time the palace became the museum to visit. You can see all the wooden carved structure and the you can about the history of Nepal during that days. You will get a lot knowledge and you get chance to know more about the Nepal if you visit in this place.
If you are new in the Kathmandu then you don’t need to worry about anything because you can live as like as you want. There are some famous 5 star hotel if you want to live or if you don’t want to waste a money in hotel then you can choose some 3 star hotel so that you can spend the rest money during the trip.
