Place creation NOT getting APPLIED!

Hey all,

This is the first time I’m contributing to Google’s place creation tool. People are searching for the new ATM installed by a leading banker in my vicinity, to reduce their difficulty wanted to contribute the ATM listing in Google Maps as local guide. I’ve miserably failed despite adding all the requisite details in my several attempts. Only getting an irritating reply from the useless algorithm stating - ‘Google isn’t accepting edits to this location’s phone number’. Please find the attached screenshot of my attempts too. Kindly suggest a way out.

Only write bank instead of all bank name . Try now. All the best .don’t blame Google…

Just try adding ATM for the name and let us all know how you go :wink:

Please be aware that adding banks and ATMs is not possible in many countries because these categories were hit with a lot of spam and fake places in the past.

So it might not be possible what ever you do. If the bank is claimed, I would suggest you reach out to the bank and ask them to add the ATM.

Alternatively you could ask for help in the Maps support forum.

Hi, this issue happened to me several times, and I thank Mr. Tashkent Nadar for pointing out the full answer.

From the word ATM, probably for the security of the place or the laws of the country and different regions or the use of some words prevents the registration or comment or other products.
