Why is my SV account getting hacked ? How to get alerts from my SV, so I know when something has changed. Can we do this?
I receive emails in every modification on google maps and SV… :s I think that this is automatic… no?
Hi @AndrewG https://myaccount.google.com/ and turn on two factor authentication. Then it would only be possible to hack your account with username, password and your phone or Google authenticator.
You can see more here https://myaccount.google.com/security

1st thanks for excellent link. Impossible? I visited my sv profile for the first time in ages today, I had to delete a number of duplicate images (only from 1 location), and an image with extreme over exposure (whiteout same location). Like you said how the hell does this happen when so many precautions have been taken. I hate it, can i only assume that it came from inside Google? which bothers me a great deal, especially considering I spent 1200 aud on this phone, and I am not a competitive threat to any SV service provider, just really annoying ahhhhhhh or maybe a very clever flatmate/s friend? Have to mention that the series of photos that was hacked is being looked at by certain ppl, because of weird ghost like Sunflare it’s only sunflare but does look alot like a ghost. Thanks Paul ??? Still upset tho ![]()
Hi @AndrewG did the photos you find in your contribute came from your phone? Can you find in your local filesystem?
If yes, maybe you shoot for error, and uploaded automatically when asked to add.
If no, this is a serious account issue, as someone else is using your account to upload.
Follow the @PaulPavlinovich suggestion, and also have a look to connected devices in your Google Account, look for something you don’t recognize.
My 2 factor is on, has been for 12 months. Not this device, a Samsung, which I found was connected in my list, from your link, and have deleted it now. Seems amazing that it has happened, I am in the land of Oz tho? Just peed off, what else can they be doing, that I am not aware is more concerning

Sometimes my sons log in using different devices (i.e. grandmother etc.), please, be sure that you never logged in using a friend device.
