We’re partnering with the curators behind the local food truck culture to bring you a night filled with eating great food and sending #SmallThanks to the small businesses you love.
When: 4-8pm, September 19
Where: Heinz Lofts, Pittsburgh
What: A riverside Happy Hour featuring five food trucks, two breweries, local food influencers, and fellow small business fans.
Why: Google is kicking off the #SmallThanks campaign to celebrate all that small businesses do for their communities and wants you to help spread the word.
What is Small Thanks?
Small businesses are the cornerstone of communities like Pittsburgh. They provide the services and community spirit that make up the very fabric of cities and towns across America. #SmallThanks is our way of showing just how much these businesses mean to the communities they service.
Every small business, in addition to needing your support in-store, also needs your support online. In order to gain new customers, they need people like you to spread the word, give a thumbs up, or write a great review. Lending a helping hand is as simple as visiting a business’ listing on Google Search or Maps and leaving them a review.
You can also share your support by posting about your favorite small businesses on social media. A great photo and a few comments about your experience can go a long way.
Reviews, photos and posts on social media are just a few ways you can send your #SmallThanks to the businesses you love.
Muchas gracias @laurelleighs , esperemos que inciativas como estas se celebran tambien a lo largo del mundo por ejemplo en Madrid y no solo en Pittsburgh.

Namaste from New Delhi, I think that’s a great idea and I can imagine how fruitful it will be if it will take place in India too, which is the hub of Street foods stalls and street market. @YK1001@laurelleighs@deepak_bhalla .
